NAPA is the only place I've found that still have the OE style rubber shrouded battery end.
What he said. NAPA is proud of them tho...bout had cardiac arrest when they handed me the bill. Didn't even think to ask how much.

Re: IT'S ALIVE!!!! (said in a maniacal voice)

Well, I'm just going to live with it. I may put some red heat shrink on it up towards the top.
it just seems wrong having 2 black cables.

Got the Adj vac advance can on there today... accidently grabbed a unit for a points set up, and had torun back to jegs. I couldn't believe they had one out on display... I mean, there is a place for a points distributor... but that place is on the shop floor... or in my case, leaving it on CG's barn floor (I actually ment to bring it with me though)
Any how, I put it on, reset the timing at 8 degrees and it just purrrrrrrrrrs. Instant throttle response, starts with a bump on the key... I can't wait to drive it now. Installed the front body harness on there to test it out, to see if all my mods work right, and they do. Got the amp guage working now too...
Even tried turning the A/C on with the engine running, and was honestly kinda shocked when the compressor kicked on! I shut it off being it is totally empty, but none the less, makes me think this rig may have chilly air in it one day!

Spray paint one red? I've got rustoleum on part of my front fender on the Firebird, it's held up well in the TX heat and rain for the past year. I'd bet it would fine on a battery cable.

Rattle cans never run out of uses.
