Smile I couldn't resist

I was messing around last night and ended up here.

Started reading about the new Silverstar halogen headlights. I seen Advance auto parts sells them, and well, to tell you the truth, I just had to have a set. Bought them today, and not cheap before I forget at 27 bucks each. Put them in this evening. A few minutes ago, after it got dark here, I took a test drive and they are awesome. A bright white light, not anything like the regular halogens. Not blue tinted like the Midnight Moose conversions I had in it. Are they brighter than the Moose lights? Not sure if they are brighter or not, but not blue tinted, just a bright white light.

I think they are keepers. It looks like I'm never satisfied with anything don't it? I guess I'm not in a way.

As long as they're composite there are tons of universals. I have yet to see a HID for sealed beams.

All I can say is, I hope I blind the hell out of all the ricers that's been blinding me all this time.

Neon, don't think so. But a wing is a good idea. Hey, I'm a carpenter you know. I can build a nice one. That might just be the ticket.

whats wrong with police strobes? I would kill for a set. I want to put strobes in my front turn signals and maybe in the rear. but I probably wont cuz they are hard to find and expensive. But damn it looks cool at nite especially in big crowds like in the desert.......

Thumbs up

Yep, they are as bright as the HID's and cost less. A HID conversion cost about $700 and for under $60 you get the same effect.

I would put police strobes on my truck no doubt. It would be cool to see one of our trucks sliding around a corner with the lights flashing, chasing someone in another car. That would make a good video... hint hint
