89 Chevy Blazer: Help me out
I have found an 89 Chevy K5 Siverado Blazer. The owner tells me the transmission & transfer case have been rebuilt less than 3000 miles ago. The engine he says has a blown head gasket as it shoots coolant out one side of the dual exhaust. The overall condition of the truck is good to very good. The interior is in very good shape, seems to have been well maintained and all original. It has been lifted 2-3 inches. We are trying to come together on a price and thats where I need your help. Whats a fair price? Please help me think this through.

Re: 89 Chevy Blazer: Help me out
i would never give more than 1500 for a nonrunning vehicle. not calling the seller dishonest but without a running engine you have no way of knowing what else might be wrong with the vehicle...suspension, transmission, etc. the transmission may have been damaged by towing at the same time the engine blew and the owner wouldn't know.
