shims

hey guys, i pulled my 86 apart the other week, i noticed alot of shims used in the front end , how many should be on from factory? and wat bout on the upper control arm shafts? how many per bolt?

Every truck is different, there is no "one correct" answer. Rule #1 when taking apart or restoring cars/trucks...bag and tag everything. Had you done this, you could have put it all back the way it came.

yea, i know where the main ones go, there were a few that were added to alighn the front after a light accident but its going to be properly realighned this time without the extra shims (im a panelbeater)...
