New 1 4 The Collection.

Just one more, then I'm stopping. Yeah Right! Needs brakes and an engine, but a decent truck. It was just a tad too big for my trailer.

Low book on a chassis cab right now is over 6 grand, that doesn't include the bed. They are getting hard to find, people don't want to sell them because they are damn good trucks. I know I wouldn't turn loose of mine for anything. I have constantly had to insist that it is not for sale.

I wish! They look similiar, but that's a lot nicer (and longer) bed than mine. They're definitely kin though. Mine's a little older, so maybe Uncle's truck is Brutus' nephew!

Re: New 1 4 The Collection.

Not sure of it's worth yet, since I haven't used it. I had seen a few ,but with shorter beds. This one is 18' and what I needed, since most vehicles I haul are trucks. My thing now is trying to decide what engine I can afford. This is a 70 truck w/71/72 grill.

There is no book value on these vehicles. There are "books",which are worthless and put together with no more information than what you can gather on your own to establish a value. These thrucks are worth what they go for.Sometimes cheap and usually too much these days because of misinterpretted "books".

Find yourself a C/30 and build one of these trucks. They are still being built. There is a company called Hodge that builds them,as well as others. These ramp trucks began as home-built.That can still be done.
