Horn button removal?- 05 Tahoe
I've got an 05 Tahoe and sometimes the horn works and sometimes it doesnt. It's definetly in the steering wheel "button". Are there any special precautions for removing the center of the steering wheel since it has an airbag inside it?
Thanks!!

Re: Horn button removal?- 05 Tahoe
Not really as long as you are careful. Make sure it is the switch that is doing it though. I've had several of them actually be the upper tilt head in the column not grounding out right and the horn won't work till you turn steering wheel. If you want to be extra careful before poking at the release tabs for the air bag there is a connector at the base of the steering column. It'll be yellow and have 4 wires in it. If you unhook it you'll be fine when you dig into the upper part of the column.
