truck/car show pics (firstgens LS1 truck)

here is a local car show here in T town.....firstgens truck was out there, and was for sell.....there was quite a few awsome rides out there this week...one being a Ls1 55 chevy with ghost flames and a flawless blue paint job......here are a few pics

no it was just a chromed out TBI engine

Wow. Whomever re-did the body did a decent job from the pics. The truck was damaged from end to end from what I remember (and they kept the 6.0 badge on the tailgate).

Taylor had just purchased some fleet wheel tubs from me to add some room for rubber right about the time it was rear ended. I wonder how his Porsche LS conversion went??

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

last i heard he was gonna twin turbo it...dunno if it materialized tho...but would love to see it when completed.......yea, from what i saw the truck was repaired well

At least the bedsides finally got color matched.

You didn't really notice it before in pics but I'm pretty sure the bedsides were black & only the fenders were painted. IIRC, it started as a lwb & the fenders were re-used once converted to swb.
