Dakota Digital Instrumentation.

Has anyone ever installed a Dakota Digital dash instrument unit? I was thinking of upgrading the dash in my 78 P/U. I'm interested on how complicated the installation is. Many thanks!

Re: Dakota Digital Instrumentation.

depends on your skill level, there are about 20 wires that need to be spliced into the "brain"

Re: Dakota Digital Instrumentation.

You won't need to use all 20 or so wires...

You'll need:

Left / Right turn
Water Temp
Oil Pressure
Fuel
Power
Ground
Speedo
RPM
.. a few others.

I just installed one last week on my '87.

Pretty simple
