Re: Engine Clean up

I'm wanting it to be running right now.. But, well, I haven't had time.. Instead, tonight I am working on my buddies 64 Short Fleet side.. I had Comp grind a cam for the little 327 that is in it. It's got a stock 2.02/1.60 Camel humps on it, running a hyd roller now with a 236/242 @ .050. Luckily it's got a M21 in it. Should be pretty fun and run high 12's to low 13's at stock weight. Maybe a pinch more..

Re: Engine Clean up

Wish I was that close to being ready to head down the 1/4 again.... It's been MANY years....

Lately I have been spending most of my "car-time" working on the El Camino I picked up that is my latest "get-me-to-work-on-time" Daily Driver..... just gutted the interior, fixed emergency brake and will be installing leather bucket seats & new carpeting and some CRAGAR wheels with Mickey Thompson tires (rear) by the weekend.

Fortunately the weather here in Pittsburgh has been "dry" and will be most of the week so I have been riding my "Indian" to work.... some of my neighbors LOVE my 4:45AM pass thru the neighborhood.... ha!!! Keeping it as "quiet" as I can......
