i used drop spindles up front and springs in rear. Was cheap for me because I used front suspension from a 75 year model truck..

Re: Need pics please help.
I do not have notches, nor do I feel that it needs them. If I really load up the bed, it will hit the stops but it is not a big deal. I also am running the stock track bar.

Attachment 385405 Thanks for the help, this is Moxies truck we are thinking of giving her a new stance. He really wants to run the same size tires on all four corners but after installing the new disc conversion it seemes to have widened the front end,so thats why we need a plan, maybe new front crossmember and a drop?

No C notches needed for a 4" drop.

Re: Need pics please help.
Here is a couple of pics of my 64 with 2.5" front and 4" lowered coils and shocks only. I really love the way it handles now with the lower center of gravity and with the CPP swaybars front and back it sure hugs the corners.
Pretty simple way of lowering. Really got me thinking about airbags though. Does anyone know if you can just buy the bags and brackets or do I have to get the shocks as well?? How much welding is involved in those kits?? I got the springs and shocks as a kit from CPP probably 10 yrs ago now but they were only installed a couple years ago and just finally roaded this summer.

Re: Need pics please help.
I am running 295/50R15 on 10" wheels on the back and 235/60R15 on 8" wheels up front. I did tub it a couple inches so that the tires wouldnt rub on the bed wood though.

Re: Need pics please help.
I never checked. Sure did make my truck ride real nice though. The 700R4 was great also.
