Hillbilly Hummer

Found this over on the EBAY - thought it was an "interesting" use of old parts.
Enjoy. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=150286425912

Re: Hillbilly Hummer

ok, im not one to rag on something that somebody spent time and money on. but..... the general body is actually pretty cool lookin. from the back it looks bad ass. the body lines from the door back are as crooked as a lawyer, the dash is... well beyond words. as for the sub in the plywood... well that sound cant be good. i might build that but it would be alot different and alot better built.

Re: Hillbilly Hummer

It would have been allot easier, and the results would have looked better if the guy had just shortened a burb or panel truck. That's my opinion, but I'm stickin' to it.

Re: Hillbilly Hummer

It says he built it out of left over trucks. So I say god bless him for "trying" to save them. Sure everyone has differnt tastes and skill levels, lets not mention income levels.

The concept is kinda cool though.....

Put it on a 4x4 frame Id drive it.

Re: Hillbilly Hummer

looks like something that you would see in the african sahara, or the australian outback, or I guess the backwoods of the east coast

I didn't even think about the bluegrass coming out of that speaker when I saw it

Re: Hillbilly Hummer

Actually, this thing could make a decent 5th wheel hauler; the execution could've been better, i guess, but otherwise.. a lot of work went into that thing. I just hope it's not all Bondo, like most do-it-yourself jobs are these days.
