Tire questions for 4x4
I separated my left front tire on the freeway Saturday afternoon and limped home. Now they don't make my tire anymore so I need four new ones.
Should I keep raised white letters or go blackwall? Suggestions on thread type. I live in PHX, no rain or off road driving. Will drive in snow if the white stuff falls. Photos appreciated.

Re: Tire questions for 4x4
May not be what you are looking for, but I like the "clean" look of the black out tires. Also these BFG A/T tires are good all around too.

I have Carlisle Baja ATs with white raised lettering. Great all around tire, they ride great, no howling.

Re: Tire questions for 4x4
I like the white letters if it's a name brand tire. I love BF AT's for daily driving... Mud Tires usually have more road noise and wear faster on the highway...

Re: Tire questions for 4x4
On my work truck i use General AT2's. Just like the BFG A/T only cheaper. I use this truck for plowing snow, towing, and hauling heavy loads. No RWL.
On the Blazers i have Swampers and Buckshots. I dont think you want these. Noisy, bias ply mud tires. No RWL.

Re: Tire questions for 4x4
Im with msgross on the BFG All Terrains. Very nice road tire, but still has the grip for the ugly stuff. I do prefer mine black wall though.
