Column to Floor shift on 67 3/4 ton - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am looking to convert my 67 3/4 ton to a floor shifter. What I am looking to confirm is the components required to complete the conversion.
I have investigated and found a hurst 3666809 shifter is for a 1/2 ton and hope it will also work on the 3/4. I also feel I will require the 3677143 install kit.
Can anyone tell me if these are correct?

I'm sorry if this sounds dumb but is it a straight drive or automatic?

If it's a straight drive then you need the linkage for the floor shifter and if it's a auto then you need the cable hookup.

In fact it is not dumb, however I do not know what you meant. It is a 3 speed, column shifter. Is all mechanical

Hey Mike,These days guys can get confused when you say 3spd.It always meant 3spd manual to me (still does).But,with o/d automatics being the current norm in later vehicles alot of people think of traditional automatic trannies like TH350s and TH400s.When talking trucks I say 3spd,4spd,Powerglide(P/G),TH350,or TH400.That`s what was available back then in these trucks and there never was confusion.If I`m talking newer o/d automatics I use their names,like 700r4 or 4L80E.This is to help all keeps things clearer here.

About your question:
You should be able to use that 1/2t stuff.There is nothing different in the configuration from 3/4t and 1/2t.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
