Question about cut coil springs
I got these with a truck I just bought. I believe they are rear coils that have been cut. Are they still good? I think the PO cut the tapered end off.

Unless the cut ends have been re-coiled (like the stock end) there is no way to bolt them in.... If you have an automotive spring shop in your area they could probably heat them and re-shape the cut end and re-temper them. Just a thought.... LockDoc

They look like front springs with a coil cut. I thought the rears were more of a beehive shape. I could be wrong though. It wouldn't be the first time.

Jorgensensc is right Those are FRONT coils....And yes they look very usable.....

I don't think they are fronts. The one end (on the left of picture #1) is coiled too small.

they are front coil spring's BUT they may not be out of a 67 to 72 truck , the one end is curled different , they look like good usable spring's to me I would use them,,,
