Re: quick question?(spindles)
Can any of the later model guys share anything on the Summit spindles?
Aren't they a name-brand spindle just sold under the summit name? |

Re: quick question?(spindles)
I was'nt aware summit had their own brand spindles. Only problem they might have is that you can't run a 15" stock wheel on them. My djm 3" spindles are like that.

Re: quick question?(spindles)
I believe they are made by "ground force". I've never had a problem with anything bearing the "summit" brand name.

Re: quick question?(spindles)
You want plates or cups. Most folks run plates on top and cups on bottom.

Re: quick question?(spindles)
Yes, those are the plates that I'm looking for. I'm just running the plates b/c I got the drop member, so I don't need the tops. Thanks guys

Re: quick question?(spindles)
Make sure you get the correct spindle for the correct size brake rotors on your truck. The 73-87 spindles have two choices available. One is for the early design 1.250" thick brake rotors. The other is for the "light duty" verison,.... which is the 1" thick brake rotor. Make sure you order the correct spindle.
