My blazers rear seat is only held down with a rear brackets. so if i push on the seat back it lifts up a little. Is there a bracket for the front part where my feet would be?

There is a bracket that sits over the front mount, but they are simi-hard to come by. Here is a link with a pic. If you find a set, look at spending $65-75. Check ebay, they are on there fairly regularly. Check junk yards for suburbans, they had two sets.
