So...are all trucks this color (anniversary gold) 50th's...?

I see a few trucks around my area this color.
Are they all anniversary models if they have this color or could you get a non-anniversary "gold" truck?
or are they a 50th's only if equipt with:
Custom Comfort (Z62) or Custom Sport Truck (Z84) or Bucket seats (A50)
Or....this saying you could only get this color if equipt with at least one of the above...
So, the option equipt on the truck allowed for the color and you could not get the color unless equipt with one of the 3 listed options.
So... (follow me here, I'm thinking out loud) You could not/will not find a non-CST, non-Cutom, non-bucket seat equipt Gold truck ??????????? Right ?
Or...Ok... what makes it a 50th.... the Color, the Color combo, or the Z62,Z84, or A50... Was "50th" denoted anywhere?

Is this also saying that the color of gold is Anniversary gold... like "torch red" or "sunset orange" or is it celebrating the 50th year of building Chevy trucks (1918).
Did this color come on GMC's...
Man I JUST got interested in this 50th thing...

A base model can be a 50th, if it has buckets.
A custom, or CST could be a 50th regardless of seats.
The main thing is the paint and int codes, 551 off white/gold for paint and 627 parch vinal trim. Those codes is what makes it a 50th. Chevy only, since GMC started making trucks in 1902.
It has been debated as for two tone 1968 NON 50th trucks. I knw I've seen one on here, it apeared as original, and was 2 tone gold and white, but the codes were off.
The easiest way to spot them in all reality, is the 2 tone seat, and the gold dash pad and visors.
And there was no designation nor insignia that set them apart, just the colors.

sorry if i burst some of you 50th dreams but ive got a couple truck adds i scored a while back at a swap meet and one of the adds talks about the 50th editions here is a picture so you all can read about the 50th's

I know for a fact you could get the 50th treatment on burbs, elcys, even vans.
The only one I wonder about... is stepsides... but it was supposed to be avalible on oall chevy trucks...

How does the two-tone work on a step-side? Now that I am thinking about it, I don't recall seeing that?
The 50th two-tone says that it requires the moulding....of course to have a place to break the colors. The moulding doesn't exist on step-sides does it?
I could see breaking the colors at the body line around the fender, but that is not how it was done on the fleetside trucks.

That first picture does say "There is a gold and white (50th Anniversary) Fleetside"? Why would they specifically state that if it was available on the step-side

Ok got a question here I just bought a parts truck that is a 50th it has the rite paint codes and gold dash and visors with white door panels, but it has the full foam seat that is black vinyl on the edges and a light gold fabric all the way across it almost is like silk have any of you seen this? the truck had a black floormat and did have the custom cab option and everything on this truck looks to be original

If I was thinking of a stepper I would agree with the white roof Gold body, white grill, but I would think stainless trim on the drip rail and along the back of the cab. That would give it a nice place to break.

Dang, I saw a 50th short stepside, unmolested, at the Good Guys this summer. I should have taken a picture of it. I tried to find the owner but there were too many vehicles to see and too little time left. As I recall the bottom of the cab was white, along with the top and the box was all gold.

If you are trying to imply that the 50th's were only fleetside pickups...read on!!! This is from a 1968 50th Anniversary Promotional Package sent to all Chevrolet dealers.

I was under the impression all the 50th's were all long beds. You could get a 50th in a short fleet? Does anybody have production numbers ont these? You guys knowledge of this stuff astounds me.
