Re: got a new truck!!!!

i got the dash back from the upholster today. planned on fiberglassing it, but i got tired of sanding so he put 1/8" foam on it and covered it in vinyl.Name: 1967camaro 020.jpg

Re: got a new truck!!!!

well i went to the pomona swap meet yesterday and these things followed me home. Sorry for the crappy picture. they are 22x9 coys. 5.50 backspacing on the front, 5 backspacing on the back. I'm running a 285-35-22 tire front and rear. my drop is approx. 5/7 with a flip kit and shackles in the rear c notched, and 2 inch drop coils with 3 inch djm drop spindles. ill have pictures of the truck dropped on 22s as soon as i get to take pictures to do it justice.

Re: got a new truck!!!!

I'm loving that dash. Looks really nice. If you don't mind me asking...how much did that set you back? I can't wait to see what the truck looks like, dropped, rimmed and ready to run. Keep us updated!

i smooth the dash out by fiberglassing, bondo and primer and i sent it to my upholster and he put padding on it and covered it for 110.

Re: got a new truck!!!!

I don't know how I missed this before?!?
I think I would rather do that than spend the ~$400 for a new one!
Have you had a chance to mount the trim to it and mounted it? Pictures please!!!

Re: got a new truck!!!!

Looks really good. What did you use to ReDye them? (you had to know that was coming) What would you say the quality and...uhhh, "Last-ability" of the dye job is?
