It should have almost no rust at that mileage unless it's sat outside for a long time. It almost looks like it's been painted on the lower white area at one time. There's also appears to be some rust on the firewall. That 396 does not look very original to me. Hopefully it's at least the stock heads and block. It could still be a pretty nice truck though.

I'd believe the rust for the miles in KC, they use alot of salt and calcium on the roads there during the winter........very hard on 34 year old sheet metal.

Gotta be 131K or 231K.
Come on..how many true 31K mile trucks are out there? Especially hard to believe given all the rust, freshly painted (rebuilt?) engine, rusty wagon wheels..etc. Just proves there's one born every minute. Still good resto candidate, though. SC

I emailed the seller and asked the reserve, it is $7500. (ouch in my opinion) The seller said they are selling it for the original owner and supposedly it is original miles, but I question that. It looks like a "kid " owned truck with the mods .

Yeah, you gotta love that fuzzy rear view mirror cover!
And those cool graphics. Looks like she's been rode hard and put up wet. $7500? That's about $5000 too much IMO> SC

I emailed the seller to see if that was indeed the original engine in the truck, and if they still had the original intake, valvecovers and aircleaner.
Seller emailed me back saying that is the original engine with the "factory original intake, valvecovers and air cleaner that were on it new" ! Yikes!! You can read "Edelbrock" on the valvecovers for cryin' out loud. As they say....buyer beware. SC
