Anyone going from Dallas/Fort Worth area to Houston Area?

If anyone is coming this way towards Houston from Dallas/Ft Worth Area I need a Seat brought down this way. I would be glad to help kick in a little gas money for your trouble. I would post this in the transportation forum, but now I can't find it. Moderators feel free to move this if it is in the wrong place.

They merged the trans forum back into thsi or GD because of low traffic.

Are you sticking around? I have to due to the job and all. I am working Friday into Saturday morning. I will probably get held over at work if Ike hits Saturday morning. I will probably just send the family up to Cypress area. I don't see there being much destruction and flooding up that far.

Re: Anyone going from Dallas/Fort Worth area to Houston Area?

Bucket seat or bench seat? Got a bench seat in need of a new cover you can have for free if I can fit it in the car (wouldn't say no to gas money though). If you have already payed for one, that's cool too. I will be driving through Houston late night Sunday the 21st and back home again sunday the 28th (mid morning). I drive a Roadmaster wagon so there is a good chance a bench seat will fit in the back, but not positive. I will be staying in Crystal beach if you wanted to come get it during the week. PM me with details and maybe I can help you out.

Both: A Buddy Bucket Bench seat! I bought one off the parts board and need a way down here. If you have the room I would definitely be grateful Let me know if you can do it. I will get you better directions to the pick up point if you can do it. Let me know.

Re: Anyone going from Dallas/Fort Worth area to Houston Area?

I have a feeling traffic in and out of Houston is going to be hell for the next 4 or 5 days. And then to get to Crystal beach will probably be impossible. Not even sure I'd want to attempt that trip. That's like driving into an erupting volcano and not even knowing it's erupting even though you're watching it erupt.

Shawn,
Can you get me dimensions of the seat? I'm not sure what this one looks like. Does the back fold down? If so I will need the dimensions of the seat folded as well. If it will fit, I should be able to get it to you.
