looking at a 383 to make a deal with just worndering whats its worth it starts with ross 12to1 lunita h beam rods calles steel crank belt drive e tech 2.08 heads 64cc angle plugs full roller set up with 620 lift cam jesel shaft rockers vic jr intake 850 race demon it was built by uas performance engines he is looking to get 8000$

It sounds like a decent piece but you could build a 496 with decent pieces for that kind of cash! If you bought wisely maybe even larger.

It is worth 8g with the parts but i would not build a SB for that much $ unless i was required to or it was twin turboed... 8g on a big block can get you over 600hp easily.

The heads are the weak link here,, I've built motors with the 170 and the 200cc e-tec's and they are kick butt heads,,,, for a street head. That's not a race head and your now stuck with that Vortec style Vic Jr. I'd pass on the whole deal as for that $ you could easily have a 650HP sbc,,, and this one will NOT get you there.
The Lunati ProMod and Pro Billet rods are a I beam not a H beam,, I don't think Luanti made a H beam except for the LS1 packages, but I could be wrong on that. Point is, something sounds amiss, make sure the guy is giving your the straight skinny on the internals.

thanks ill check on that i was going to take in on trade it has 5 pass on the dyno . i am tradie for 54hp bobcat motor i have a 515 in mine
