Re: Max lowness without bags
It probably came with the cut coil and the tire size. Thats why I said to put your 20's on the front. It looks like you could get about 1" outa just doing that. what is the differance in tire height front vs rear on yours?

Re: Max lowness without bags
well i dont have my bed on it, its at the bodyshop. but its pretty even, so id say like 26in or so, not for sure tho. i need to get it aligned and put the 20s on the front. i can prolly put one on tomorrow ( i have my 15 inch rallys on it now) but it rained like 2 inchs where i am, so i can put one beside my 79, and center it, then do the measurment.

Re: Max lowness without bags
Just measure how tall the tire is. I'd do it side to side instead of up and down since the 20's won't have any weight on them. your measurement will be more accurate. Just from looking at the pic with the 20's on the back the 20's look smaller than the 15's. My front tires are 245-40-20 and they are close to 27" tall so yours are going to be a little smaller than that. What size tires are on the ralleys? Here this might help a little. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

anyone know how low the back can go without putting a c-notch before you start knocking out fillings?

Re: Max lowness without bags
I used to just have a flip kit on my truck with no notch and it did bottom out on me once. That's as low as I would go.

Re: Max lowness without bags
Mine has a flip with no notch. It bottoms every once n a while there is about 3/4" clearance but with a H/D leaf springs (8 leafs) its pretty stiff. I wouldn't go any lower either without a notch.
