Thumbs up Craigslist deal of the year..........

I just got back in from a 160 mile round trip road trip with a truckload of goodies. My neighbor and member here Alan (Alan'sClassic) forwarded me a link Wednesday for someone selling new 67-71 truck parts. I called the guy yesterday morning with a few questions to confirm exactly what he had for sale. It turns out he had a '67 that he was going to restore, but he lost interest in it and sold the truck. The guy told me that it was an all or nothing deal, so we agreed on a price for everything and I told him I'd meet him today. The deal was so good I just knew he would sell everything before I got there today. I could barely sleep at all last night waiting for today to come. I just can't get over the deal. So without further ado, below is a list of the parts that he had left over that he just wanted gone. Keep in mind everything is new in the box.

(2) Goodmark 68-72 SWB Bedsides LH/RH
(2) Goodmark 67-71 Doors LH/RH
(2) Tri Plus 67 Fenders LH/RH
(2) 67-68 Original Grilles in excellent condition

Well over $2K for the parts above that I got for a cool $1000.

The 67-68 fenders and grilles will be sold or traded for 69-72 parts. I'll post them later when I "settle" down.

Many thanks to Alan for sending this info my way.

I know it's not true without pictures. So here you go.

Put me in line for one of the other '68 grills(white?). Color does not matter & driver quality is all i need.

Re: Craigslist deal of the year..........

Nice score... I just bought most of the same stuff and spent over $1000 without doors and grille.
