Aluminum Radiators
There was a thread a while back where some guys ordered some nice looking radiators from someone online at a reasonable price. It was a whole unit with 2 fans and all. Anybody got one installed with a small block? Whats the fitment like?

I put a aluminum rad on my 70 and it fit great. The only imperfection was that the radiator retainer bracket on the rad cap side, it didn't fit well so I had to grind down the bracket a little bit until it mounted correctly. But other than that, it cools better than a stock one. And I still have the stock fan on it.

I'll let you know today, because the big brown van is coming to my house.
 He makes one for the conversion (LS1 into our trucks) That's what I got, with fans. I'll stop and get rad hoses this afternoon. I'll take pictures.

I bought one from the link two weeks ago and put it in my 72 GMC. I couldn't ask for better quality and fit.

I am also wondering about quality. Been burnt before buying a aftermarket rad...it only lasted a year. I would ask who the manufacturer is.

I think he said he makes them inhouse, mine showed up tonight and it looks great except the trans cooler is on what I consider the wrong side, my LS1 agrees with me. We'll see what he says.
Anyway, overall it looks to be a quallity piece and the price is very competitive. I'm happy with it except I will have to do some bending of the lines to make it work.

OK, after emailing him he is kind of a jerk, will not even address the issues I have with the radiator.
The quality of the radiator is great, it is heavy so I can assume it is not made of thin material, it has a billit filler neck welded on the inside. very nice welds, thick hose connections, very nice fan shroud. My issues are I was told it was a drop in replacement for my motor swap and that I could use the stock trans lines. Which I can as long as I bend them 180 degrees. Anyway, buyer beware... Know what you are getting before you buy it!
