73-76 used the same equipment, only minor changes occurred from 77-87. hope this helps your search.

Thats true in the pickups but the Blazer has the full removable top 73-75 and doesn't bolt in as high so the bracket is reversed to clear the door handle. What I don't know is if there is a support missing from the bottom as well. also for some reason the parts listed at chevy show 73 only as well. I just havent't figured out what is so special about this design Chevy discontinued the part 5 years ago

paint color
moneypit, can you tell me what color you painted your Blazer? I've got a 75 and I'm considering a color change... Will probably require a frame off to get underneath, and in the cab, etc, etc... (can hardly wait!)
Anyway, I"m considering Electron Blue Metallic ('02/'03 Corvette Color). Can you tell me what color you're truck is, and how it compares to the new vette blue metallic? Thanks, Greg. |

When you say you want the window tracks, do you mean the regulator assy, as in the crank & scissor type arms. Sorry, I don't know all the terms for these things.
On my 73, I noticed that the ones from a 76 door appeared to be the same except the rollers were a different size. I went to www.chevyduty.com & ordered the rollers for the 67-72 & they were the same size. If you need the window regulator out of a 76 door, I could probably help you out. Then you would just need to order the rollers, drill out the old ones, & fit the new ones on there. Mike |

I need the track itself the one bolted to the door on the latch side that the window slides up and down in. My regulators seem to be ok but I don't have anything to guide the window up and down

Moneypit, sorry I don't have direct information you are looking for. I have a 75 that I will be pulling the door panels off this week, and I will gladly send you several pics by the end of the week.
Meanwhile, a question... did you consider upgrading to power windows for this truck? Power windows were not offered until after '77 I believe, and I understand the unit is quite different, and does not fit into a 73-75 application, even though the doors are similar. Finally, one more ques. on your truck. How many inches of lift did you put in? I'm just starting my tear down, and planning a 4" lift when I go back... Just wanted to get an idea based on your pics. |

That would be great!!!!
I considered it but it is not in the budget right now. The conversion and all the parts I had to buy put me way over. I put a rancho 4in lift and left the stock wheels so it clears 35 just barely. I haven't had it in a super flexy spot yet but it looks like if it touches it will be just a little. The guy that did the body work said it would be easy to trim if it does rub. It just barely will fit in my Garage though I mean by like a 1/4 to 1/2 an inch It is kinda scary driving in there.

Moneypit, here's a couple of pics I promised earlier in the week. Unfortunately they don't show a whole lot of detail.
There is a track that retracts and a track just below the opening for at the arm rest pad support level that stays fixed. The scissor arms open on the moving track and fixed track. Hope this helps a little.

Are you taking the track all the way out???
I am curious how the mounts look on the track itself. I kinda fabbd one up and I think it will work but I need to work on the track a little to get it to fit the new regulator

No, I think this is as far as I'm going. It's operating ok, so I'll just mask, and lube before going back with new panels.

Can you look in the door at the track that it slides in and tell how the the brackets go? I think the top bracket goes up and over the door handle and the botom bracket attaches with that bolt just below your armrest toward the corner of the panel there in the pic. Is that corect???
