Nice GMC burb in Wisconsin

I cant believe nobody has bid on this yet, only has a little over a day left and only 600.00, I would give 300 for the seats alone.

Thanks for bringing this one to my attention. I was high bidder on it 3-4 months ago but it didn't reach the reserve. They wanted a bit more for it back then.

I was going to bid on that about a year ago, the guy had like a $1500 reserve on it then. I think I offered him like $400-$500 for the seats at that time if it didn't sell and he got a little snooty sayin that he absolutely wouldn't part it out and that it was well worth the reserve price yadda, yadda, yadda...

I was able to get him to send a few more pics though..let me say this, the pictures he has posted on ebay are very strategically taken, as not to show the extent of the rust. The rear quarters ARE absolutely toast. Heck, it makes my Panel look like it came from Arizona!

blazerman is right, I would bid on it for the seats alone.

I have a set of those 67/68 burb buckets and they are rarer than the truck buckets. Basically they are identical to the style found in trucks except the center seat does not have a flip-up back as in pickups. Also the center console hinge is designed differently and is more rugged.

IMO, highly desirable if you're restoring to factory specs and want a neat option.

I don't know if I would say it is getting a good home.....It might end up a big metal ingot by next year with all of it's good parts spread to the 4 corners of the US. I can see the seat is good and I hope the rest is better than my already low expectations.

I'd rather have a nice Ochre blazer!

All this talk about suburban's has me thinking. There is a guy that lives next-door to my dad, that has a 69 or 70 1/2 ton 4x4. What a family rig that would be. Lifted about 4" with 33"-35" tires and 3/4 ton running gear. I am plotting, but a suburban would be hard to hide from the wife ( I do this often with smaller things, I just make sure that I beat her home to hide the packages delivered by UPS). hehe

Cool, Finally got it!

I could really use some stuff off that thing if you do part it out and don't use them... I'll even stop over and help!
