it will help hide bodywork imperfections from a distance, but it won't completely mask them. I am not to sure on the cost. Heres my white and brown Blazer.

What is your teacher trying to teach you,how to do good bodywork or how to hide bad?Why not keep trying until you get it right,or alot closer?That`s all bodywork is.Then you get faster.There are other pale colors besides white,too,like grapefruit.

One thing cool about white is you can see rust when it starts!!!!!!!! I had one.

i agree that white does help hide stuff, even more so if it is semi gloss (like mine) or flat. although if you drive it alot or use it as a work truck like mine, it is hard to keep it clean. white sucks when its painted over dark colors, and then scratched, the scratches show up bigtime. i am think about changing my trucks color to something darker, maybe a meduim blue or something

Wassup fam?
This my second 67 C-10,it looked like the 3rd photo that thirdstreettito posted in the ad(oldride.com).
When i went get it, it ran superb,made it home fine! I got out the truck n saw alot oil on the side of the truck & thought WTF? Still crank up fine n run fine etc. I wanted it dependable so i took it to a shop to get the engine re done with a mild cam etc. Now its a TOP NOTCH performer,still have to add some goodies though!

Low and behold "THE BODY" ...my GOD! the body looks like cellulite(fat).wavy,hilly,etc

The guy who i bought it from painted it white to hide ALOT of body damage, as u can see!
In order to have a show winning truck i would have to change the body panels from HOOD to TAILGATE!!!
I prolly can save ONLY the HOOD! ...BUT i still love her,freshly rebuilt engine edelbrock intake & carb,new headz!

Piece by piece she will be @ the top with the rest of the pack!!

I agree with Mudder. I'm actually starting to like the white on my truck. Spent one whole Sat. shinin her up with some Wesley's (great stuff). It was a lot of work as it was heavily oxidized, but the end result was worth it. The rust really shows now. lol.

I'm not real keen on the gray grill inserts on the '71 so I blacked it out. I was going to paint the horizontals white or silver but I kinda like it the way it is now.
