Olive Plaid bench upholstery?

Does anyone make a re-upholstery kit that comes in olive plaid?

I have looked on many sites and through all my magazines with little to no luck. I also tryed to search it on here cuz I saw a thread a little while back that was about the plaid seats but I couldnt find it again.

So any help...?

sms auto fabrics has the plaid, you will either have to find a good scroll for the center or they can make you one, and then have the cover built by an upholstery shop. here's the link for sms:

Re: Olive Plaid bench upholstery?

Does anyone have any good pics of that the original would look like? Something that I can take to a upholstery shop and show them as a reference.

Thanks for the info guys

Here is a highlander seat in the medium green I believe. It is in a truck I am currently looking at.

Re: Olive Plaid bench upholstery?

I have a sample swatch of the Olive Plaid from SMS Auto Fabrics and it's dead on. Someone had posted in the past that the scroll from SMS in the parchment vinyl was not quite right. I plan to re-use my vinyl sections since they are still nice and have the new plaid sewn in by an upholstery shop.

Re: Olive Plaid bench upholstery?

the scroll they built for me wasn't as deep embossed as factory, and the grain vinyl they used was a little different, would probably be better to find a good original, my parts guy sends the material and original scroll off and they can clean the insert up like new and build the cover.

Re: Olive Plaid bench upholstery?

Thanks guys. I am going to talk to an old friend of mine that does custom interiors and convertable tops then. I was looking to get something as close to original as possable but I feel thats going to be damn near impossible. So I will have her make something that looks similar but possibly with a little more of a ratty feel to match the truck.
