Remote Locking Hood Release ?
Has anyone replaced the stock hood release on a 67-68 ? If I am not carefull sometimes my original latch comes unlatched by itself, this is not good!
Can i swap in a later style latch or modify the original?: |

Re: Remote Locking Hood Release ?
IIRC there is a write up in the FAQ's about using a cable operatyed hood latch.I haven't read the thread but have heard it mentioned a couple times.

Re: Remote Locking Hood Release ?
I bought a pair of them from NAPA, several years ago. They are cable-operated. Check with your NAPA store.
