re-installing the wiper motor...

Im getting ready to reinstal the wiper motor. I was going to seal it to the firewall by applying a bead of Henry's plastic roof cement (from a tube with a caulking gun). Is there a better or more proper way to accomplish this? Or is there a gasket available??
TIA, Tom

Yes, they do make a gasket. It's made out of a foam like material, about 3 inches across and about 1/4" thick( hole in the center of course). I bought mine from classic industries but I suppose lots of places sell them.
