Reinforced Tailgate 4 sale

This is a friend of mines but I thought I would try and help him sell it. This tailgate is in great shape needs fresh paint but it is straight and not beat up. When he bought the truck the previous owner (state truck I believe) welded a flat steel plate to the inside so it make this thing pretty heavy but strong. If you are interested he would like to get $100 local pickup only no shipping.

I don't have more pictures but what shot do you want I'll get what you need. I honestly think it looks better in person as the crapy cheap paint job on the truck makes the gate look worse than it is. The gate is very straight and in great shape. You won't be dissapointed and at $100 I think is a great price too especialy if you use your truck for haulin stuff. As far as the weight goes it's probably 20Lbs heavier than normal.

I don't think the price is too high. I think the problem is location/no shipping and not original. I'm using my truck for hauling and the fact that it's straight and rust free, I'd take it if I was closer. Good luck

for u guys that are thinking about shipping any suggestions for something that size? I'm willing as long as all fees are paid and I'm not responsible for any damages once the shipper receives the part. The steel plate doesn't add much weight but tailgates are pretty heavy regardless.

I have watched others be boxed up with lumber on here in a crate or pallet like box and then shipped greyhound.
