Pic Request: Common Drops w/17's, 2/4, 3/5, 4/6 preferably 67-68
Hey, I'm looking at getting a 67 three on the tree with a six and my first order of business is getting the stance. I'm kind of on the fence about which drop to go with. I ride dirt bikes and jet skis (stand ups) so I'd need it to be able to carry about 500lbs in the bed (2 bikes, or 2 skis). My thoughts were to initially to go with a 4/6, notch it, but it would probably sag, and I'm concerned about the integrity of the notch. The other thought was to install helper bags, but I want to keep it as simple as possible.
What are your guys thoughts? Also I'm looking at dropping in a 327 (after a refreshing) and a new process a833, with a ford 9" 3.00 out back. I think that would make for a nice daily driver and get decent mileage too, thoughts? Wheel wise I'm thinking the Hopster from American Racing, not too expensive and look great Thanks for all of your help, this site is amazing! |

For some other pics, you might try looking in the suspension part of the forum. People love to post pics of their trucks!
Some place there's a thread that has several pages of peoples trucks and their stat's, but I can't find it at the moment,... I will keep searching! Hopefully someone can help me find the thread....

I know you asked for a 67-68 prefered but I figure I would still show you one with 17's and a 2/4 drop..
Hopefully it will give you some idea.
