Looks like Jr. is going to be the man to beat, that team sure knows how to run on the restrictor plate tracks.

I'd like to see Rudd take the #21 and the Wood Brothers back down Victory Lane.

Jr was good last year but ended up with trouble.
With the new, smaller fuel cell it should be a interesting race. But Gordon wants another championship....... Let the best team win.....

Last year, on Tuesday after he won, Ward Burton came into the place that my daughter works (Natural Gear). When the owner brought him around to introduce him to my daughter, she looked at him and said, "Oh, hey". That was it.
Later, she told my son-in-law that "some guy named Ward Burton had come in to the place". Then, she asked him, "Who is Ward Burton?". Son-in-law came unglued! "Ward Burton!! Ward Burton??!! He just won the Daytona 500 on Sunday! Did you get his autograph?" You know that answer, already. Same daughter didn't believe George Straitt was on the other end of her telephone until his manager let him sing to her to prove he was who he said he was. This was after he told her he was George Straitt, and she said, "Now, what the hell makes you think I'm gonna believe you?" Let's just say that just because you are a celebrity, you ain't gonna make any points with her by just using your name. She isn't liable to believe you. As to who wins today.....let's just say that the weather is gonna play a big part and wait to see if they finish it, or not before they call it.

I'll be rooting for Junior...last year we went to Fla. on vacation and saw Burtons car on display at Daytona speedway...I wanted to do the 3 laps for a 100 bucks but the warden wouldn't let me..this year we're going to Orlando but she said we're not going back to the speedway unless Juniors car is there...aaaarrrggghhh !!! GO JUNIOR !!!! I wanna run the 3 laps for 100 bucks this time...Watched the Busch race yesterday..Mikey had a close call with that wall..Thought for sure Harvick had that race in the bag,he looked like the car to beat ..Junior took the win !! 1 more race and he'll sweep Daytona ..

I like the other one where he is towing the Charger and blows off the two burnout Bobs in the car
