You guys in the PNW seem to have a lot of trucks available.I do have one question though. Are there so many towns there that you just throw the "Scrabble" tiles out and name the town what they come up as?
Enumclaw? Whazzat?

Lot of the names are come from indian names....so they're hard to pronounce and very similar: Snoqualmie, Snoqualmish, Skykomish, Puyallup, Tullalip, etc

Re: Somebody needs this! 67 stepside on CL
I went out and looked at it last night.. I passed, From the out side it doesn't look too bad... but.. the core support is rusted out, The cab is toast!!, its rusted all the way down the passenger vent, above the windshield is rusted out all the way across. (the rear view mirror was flopping in the breeze). the bed is decent, tailgate is nice, has repro chrome bumpers front and rear. chrome on both is rusting and fading, the new front fenders that come with it are very early repos, (cheap and thin).. drivers door has bondo over rust down low, grill is nice, has new hoops still in the package, the hood is rusted out underneath.. all in all.. its a serious project.. you could toss a motor and trans in an have a driving truck..
If anyone would like more info about it feel free to PM me.. The cool thing is this truck belongs to a young lady who is a senior in high school.. but get this.. she has a finished 63 chev shorty fleetside truck with a built 350.. A 67 Camaro, also finished with a built 350.. a 78 Dodge "LiL Red Express" shorty pickup, a finished 78 chev pickup.. And a 383 stroker with a T400 hanging on it sitting on the floor waiting to go into something.. I was impressed!! She is a serious gearhead!! Last edited by Livrat; 09-24-2008 at 11:59 PM. |

so her quote. "The body is straight and the rockers have surface rust really not that bad (don't worry there is no cancer on this one). " only referred to the rockers?

I will admit the body is straight and believe it or not the rockers, cab supports, and cab corners were good, it has what is called "high rust" , inner roof, cowl, right kick panel, to me is way less dersirable to fix, |
