oil pan help!
my oil pan is being stupid and i cant get it out!
iv tried to wiggle it out comw out, its like stuck by the cross bar! how can i get this out, any help?? |

Loosen the motor mounts and jack up the front of the engine.
Use a wooden block so you don't damage the balancer.

Mine was always a real hooker to get past the flywheel, but I'm not sure what your setup is. Doing what neonlarry said made it much easier.

I do agree with lifting the motor, but I wouldn't do it with a jack on the balancer. I'd do it with a hoist.

you might have to take the timming cover loose to. might be catchn on it. take a look. you will have to lift the engine some how no doubt about it!.

Line up the balancer on top dead center, It puts the crank throws up and gives more room at the front of the pan to make it easier to remove.
