Question throttle cable

Anyone converted over to throttle cable from the factory rod setup? What pedal setup did you use? Also, anyone have an idea what a used Holley 650cfm 4 barrel 4150 double pumper is worth?

I grafted a pc from a 71 firewall to my 69, & used the 71 peddle assy. The cab is shaped differently (has a flat to mount the peddle) on the 71-72..........crazyL

I used gas pedal and cable from a 71 Chevy P.U. on my 68. I used the bottom hole on the firewall as the bottom hole for the 71 bracket . I used part of the metal bracket for the kickdown switch setup from the 71 and made a firewall plate by cutting it and drilling loles to line up with the holes in the plastic piece and the metal piece that goes on top of the plastic and pedal arm. I had to heat and bend toward the driver side the part of the pedal arm that holds the cable to keep it from interfering with the firewall pad. When I got mine bolted up the cable was 1 and 1/4 inches too short so I carried the cable to the local airport and got an aircraft repair shop swage an extension on the cable. However, you can just bend the arm toward the firewall instead of having the cable spliced. The set up works good and did not have to cut and weld and it can be converted back If somebody wanted bone stock 68 look.
