Made a Little Progress
I finally got my cab onto the frame last night. My truck is officially a short bed now! I had to sit the front clip on just to see what kind of stance I ended up with. Glad to see some progress. Thought Id post some pics.

Re: Made a Little Progress
No, I got a really good deal on some bedsides, so I shortened my steel floor and used my original front panel( luckily was in perfect shape) NEw repro tailgate. BTW whats the best way to mark and drill the holes for the trim on the bed?

Re: Made a Little Progress
Take a look at the "Low Buck" build. I think Kevin laid some masking tape down and taped the trim in place to get it where he wanted it and then marked all his holes. The he drilled with the masking tape still on.

Re: Made a Little Progress
Yeah (premium72) I was going to do red/white or orange/white. But seeing it like this Im thinking about going back with med gold/white. I dont think ive ever seen a gold/white short bed. So that might be good for the simple fact that it's unique. There are alot of red and orange trucks out there.(No offense, I love them) What do you guys think?
