The X pipe will no doubt give better performance, but they are a little harder to fit to most chassis. The h pipe is older tec, but does work...........crazyL

Either way you go...if you have the $$ have the pipe benders put some sort of bolt on parts so you can unbolt the X or H section so you can drop your tranny....some set ups make it near impossable to remove the tranny pan. Had a truck come into teh shop the other day just like that. Took almost an hr just to remove the tranny pan. And you shoulda smelled the burned dextron on the pipes whn we fired it up afterwards! YUK!

Our system does not get in the way of the transmission pan nor the removal of the transmission. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

wes, that looks like some fairly sharp bends in the pipes. Is that just the angle of the pic?? Hedmen gets $168 for their 2.5 pipe whats your worth? X pipe only.

I had mine installed like Wes's. The pipes Siamesed but had flanges put on forward and where they go back under the bed so that if I ever have to pull the trans all I have to do is remove this section of the exhaust to make it that much easier on myself.
