Another, what its worth

I posted this over the weekend and did not hear any response, so I thought I would try again. This is a '62 3/4 ton with 57,000 original miles. Do any of you guys have any thoughts on what it might be worth? There is ne GM fenders and rockers that go with this. Also not shown are the hood and grill. There is some rust, but I think it can all be fixed.

Chris

Thats kind of a tough one. The truck without the parts four or five hundred?, but some clowns on evil bay would pay big bucks for those fenders and rockers. Maybe a $1000.00 for all? I hate to say it but you might make more parting it out.

Re: Another, what its worth

I have to agree with those guys, I love these trucks , but they do not really have good value for resale.
A friend of ours (wrecking yard owner ) was over the other day looking at some of the cars we had for sale, and my dad said "what about those trucks?", pionting at my 5 "junkers", the guy said "the crusher likes them". Sad , but true, there is not really that much to salvage, and most of the time ,since they are a truck,a real one , not one of these sissy new trucks (air, pw ,pb, ps, heated seats), they got used as such.

Re: Another, what its worth

Id put the value in the parts not pictured the fenders if there aft arent they like 175 each oem way higher and rockers 75 each inner outers so id say thats about 500 value right there, so even if u dont fix this truck , the parts to use and fix another one is worth at least 500 but hey if u can get em for less rock on

I would give 400.00 max, there are to many running deals that can be found for 500-800.

Yeah, about $350 here in SoCal - depending on the rot factor (with paper, of course).

Re: Another, what its worth

I would say around 4-500. It does have some useful parts... I see it's a factory automatic truck. That might help in the sell...
