window replacement
The rear passenger door window in my 2002 3/4 ton extended cab fell out on the hiway. I bought a new one but do I have to replace the frame also, or is it possible to just replace the glass?
I have it all apart and it looks like I have to tear out the old frame and glue in the new frame with the window. It would be nice to just replace the glass but I can't figure out how to seperate the glass from the frame. All help greatly appreciated. Schmoky Last edited by Schmoky; 10-02-2008 at 07:08 PM. |

Re: window replacement
a glass shop should be able to help or maybe tell you how. You'll need something to dissolve/clean up the glue.
I have only seen replacements with the frame on. Good luck.
