lower 77 gmc

Hello all, I am new at this so bare with me please. I have a 77gmc 1/2t 2wd that I want to lower, but not slam- pro street look I suppose. I was considering the 2" drop front coil springs and a 4" lowered rear multi leaf. Will this give me what I am after and be sitting pretty much level?? Could i also achive this with us what I have on the truck now by altering it at all???

Re: lower 77 gmc

you could get a 2/4 drop by using drop coils in the front and a shackle/hanger kit in the rear. might not be as low as you want though. take a look at Slonakers blue 80's model. i think it has about a 2.5/4" drop. attached is a pic of my truck. 4/6" drop via 2.5" spindles and 1.5" springs in the front and 4" drop leafs and 2" shackles in the rear.

You could possibly do with drop shackles in the back.. I'm not entirely too sure though. Do a search through the threads on here.
