Side mirror glass
Does anyone know of a vendor for the glass in a sport style side view mirror on a 72. Mine got busted and I can't get one out of the vendor I purchased them from. The local glass places don't want to be bothered due to all the high end work from Ike.

I know that the 5" round and the 5" x 7" rectangular mirror heads can be had for about $8-$12, American, at places like Brothers, or LMC. Hope that helped a bit.

Re: Side mirror glass
I know the glass places should be able to but as I said they are to busy repairing damage from Ike to be bothered with one small mirror. It would cost to much to go around to each place. I thought that someone may know who sells this type of replacement mirror glass.

I've bought replacement glass for other types of mirrors. I didn't even think about that when I posted my original response.

Re: Side mirror glass
I checked and they don't have anything close. I did get a small oval shaped one to stick in it so I have something. I guess I'll wait for a slow down and see if one of the local places can do it.

Re: Side mirror glass
There is a company called Burco that make redi-cut mirror glass. If you have a Safe-lite or PPG widshield istaller in your area you can get them from them. Only trouble is Burco's catalogue only goes back to 73 but 72-73 may be the same or close
