1969-72 GMC Grill Top Bar

We will finally have the 1969-72 GMC top bar available for sale in early-mid Feb.
We have added these to our New Products page with their price along with the Front fender eyebrows and headlight bezels. The front fender eyebrows will include all installation clips.
To view pictures of these visit our new products page here
http://www.gmcpauls.com/new_products.htm
We should have the fender eyebrow & headlight bezel prices by the end of next week or so we hope. Takes awhile to get the prices due to the fact we must first get our price from Manufacturer, then find out the cost of them shipping here from overseas, then add in the custom duties that will be applied when they reach the USA. We have checked the fit and finish of these and am VERY HAPPY TO SAY GM DID NOT MAKE THEM THIS NICE!!!!!!! These are all triple nickel chromed parts.

What is the purpose of this part?. I looked at it on Paul's site but I guess I'm too dumb to figure it out!

top bar

The purpose of this part is this. One the 69-72 GMC grills, there was a bar on the top of the grill, that was riveted to the grill. So the gmc grill consists of the grill, top bar, side brows, and light bezels.

We will be unloading our container with the GMC grill top bar tomorrow and shipping them out on Wed. to those waiting on one who have contacted us. The top bars were originally installed with steel blind rivets from factory. The 68-70 main grill section is not in tooling. Only differance in 68 grill and 69-70 is the top bar used on the main grill.

Blind rivets or standard both work good, but so do machine screws with hex heads and lock nuts. If you want original appearance then blind rivets, otherwise you can get the best fit and adjustment by using the machine screw with hex head and you don't have to worry about a rivet snapping off to soon before fully expanded so everything stays tight.
If your going to use blind rivets take a small c-clamp cut the tip off a vent window installation tool, tack it on the pad of the c-clamp, then install the blind rivet through bar and grill main body and place dimple part from the vent window repair tool on open portion of the blind rivet and crank the c-clamp down crushing the rivet just like the factory did, that is unless you have a hydraulic blind rivet tool then hey just squeeze the trigger.
