Air Ride How To?

I have a general idea how air ride works, but I haven't been able to find a step by step, piece by piece "how to" anywhere. Am I just missing it here, or does someone know of a good "how to" somewhere on the web?

Thanks

Re: Air Ride How To?

It is best to customize your system to your application. The questions you need to know are how fast you want to go up and down and how much you will be play with it.

I am scared to answer that. Are we still talking about air bags?

Re: Air Ride How To?

Yes I am still talking about air ride. For example if you are going to be playing with it you will need a larger tank and more compressors than it you only drop it when parked. You can run multiple valve setups 8 is the best for most. Valve size comes into play when you talk about speed.

I think the ART Human resources dept. may need to address "Inappropriate inter-office Man-Crushing"

Just a guess.

And Tony thanks again for making it right on my set of passenger side arms. I've said it 100 times it takes good customer service/aftercare in addition to products to make a company great. I ONLY use ART arms for the last few years and very satisfied.

Josh

Re: Air Ride How To?

we stick with 1/4" valves and line for the adjustability and speed. Our 1/4" set ups have a 2-4 second rise time and are still slow enough to adjust the pressure to acquire your preffered ride height. 3-5psi may not effect the height much but it will effect the spring rate enough to change the ride quality.
