Re: New Truckin' Magazine C10 issue
Frizzle Fry and French72..... thank you. It is probably one of the best issues of any magazines in the last 5years. I am more excited to be in this magazine than the cover of Custom Classic Trucks. Dan Ward is one of the Editors and he told me this issue took two years to put together. Top notch stuff!!!!

Re: New Truckin' Magazine C10 issue
I will admit since I came over from the Jeep world I've never bought an issue. What got my money honestly was some of the shots of your Truck you threw up here in the forum. I looked in 3 stores until I found it and honestly I was blown away by the coverage of yours and the others. I do not know your afliation with that mag, but I can honestly say when the wife drags me along to shop I will stop and look at it from now on.

Re: New Truckin' Magazine C10 issue
Kizer...... thank you. I have NO affiliation with Truckin' Magazine. I am a guy who loves custom trucks. I was lucky enough to meet Dan Ward from Truckin' and he wanted to shoot my truck. I am truly lucky to have been in this issue.
63ChevyShort..... you back from what? Military? Thanks for the comments. Getting those emails or phone calls from guys saying my build inspired their build is an honor. |

Re: New Truckin' Magazine C10 issue
yolo i saw your truck a few years ago at sema when it was in white primer i thought it was awesome! then i saw it on one of the videos this year and it looked awesome done but the pics in the trucking magizine look sick!!!!!how can i get a hotwheels truck!? i can only hope to have my truck come out as nice as yours did!!
my only gripe and (i know it has nothing to do with you) is as i buy and look through all the truck magizines a very high % of the trucks are from the west coast you dont see much from the noth east where i am from any way keep up the great work nice web site!!!! |

Re: New Truckin' Magazine C10 issue
Kizer..... It is a power antenna motor. You can buy a kit for $100 from FBI or Suicide doors.
Gostranger..... thanks. I dont know why all the cool stuff is on the west coast. I am willing to bet there are some sweet rides out your way. Editors will go ANYWHERE there is a cool vehicle. So, keep your eyes out and take pictures. You can email the pics to the Editors and they will respond. The hotwheels truck is a ONE OFF. There is a similar 62 c10 with a surfboard on the shelves. Joe231.... I thought it would but it is very solid and does not get blown around. It does very well.
