67 5 speed tran conversion
Evening Chevy Brothers!
I've got a 67 with a 350/327 engine (supposedly out of a 70 Corvette) attached to a 3 speed manual. I'm wanting to convert it to a 5 speed (new - preferrably) tranny. What one would be the best - without costing me a fortune - that'll give me a good combination of speed and economy? I've looked at Tremec's line, but am a relative novice at this kind of stuff...suggestions? All will be appreciated. Thanks, Flashdad |
