who needs mirrors when you can turn your head and see everything going on behind you?

In reality... my mirror is pointless, but it looks cool lol

Not Arguing but
as you turn your head in a vehicle your brain tells your arms to compensate and you tend to pull to the opposite direction wich often leads to bent rims or head on collisions. mirrors will minimize this ... as for backing up without a trailer. no mirrors for me.

fortunately for me... i don't drive the truck at all since it isn't inspected and about to get taken apart for restoration... well, as much as I'm capable of.

As for the future... i plan on making it loud enough that people can't miss it

But I know what you're saying about the brain and arms... it takes a conscious effort, although minor, to tell yourself not to turn the wheel in that case. When I was driving it around... i cruised lol... but that's b/c the engine taps and I didn't want to break down, so i chilled in the slow lane

Re: what kind of out side mirrors do you have

I havent had the head and arm moving problem much, but I get where your coming from. IN my profile pic (horrible looking) there's some cheap @$$ autozone mirrors on it. That was the first thing to go (after the flame stickers). The mirror is mostly show and for inspection. But I have used it on occasion and haven't had too many peripheral (sp????) problems, and its my daily driver

Re: what kind of out side mirrors do you have

My truck had these cheapy autozone dumbo's on it for a couple years, they actually work well, but I think I still paid like $45 for them.

I think with mounting brackets and all these were about $60 from the Truck Shop, got them in person at Charlotte. Looks like they're up to about $80/pr now + shipping
