72 307 throttle cable mount HELP!
I have a project in progress in which a 70 & 72 truck are swapping engines. No problem to convert the 72 350 w/ Quadrajet over to accept the 70 throttle linkeage. The conversion of the 70 307 Dualjet from the 70 linkeage to a 72 cable style however?????????
Anyone have a picture of a 71 or 2 307 throttle cable mount? I have the mount off the 72 Quadrajet and was hoping to incorporate it onto the 70 307 in some way or go shopping for the correct piece if necessary. Thanks for the help! OT |

Re: 72 307 throttle cable mount HELP!
I just went thru this same thing. As you realize, the Qjet cable bracket won't work. PM user JQ-72, he had one for the 2bbl Rochester 307 when I was looking, he may still have it.
