longbed to shortbed?
Hey guys if you were to rebuild a 68 4X4 truck and wanted to shorten the frame to make it a shortbed how much value to the truck would you loose by cutting the frame?

Re: longbed to shortbed?
If you do it right, I don't think it would hurt the value at all.
I suppose some could argue how collectable these trucks may or may not be, but they aren't like a 69 Z/28or muscle cars in general where you can affect the value with non original modifications. Do it......just do a good job of it.

Re: longbed to shortbed?
If you do it right you will probably increase the value.
