Projects and lost interest

Where is the corect place to look for projects that folks have started and lost interest in or run out of funds or whatever? I sold my 71 and have been thinking about starting another one and would like to see what is out there. I posted an ad over in the WTB section, but I don't know if folks with unfinished projects got thru there regularly..thanks for any info

Look in the trucks for sale section. There are always some good buys over there. The main forums list will take you right there.

The board for sale adds, craigslist, Ebay, local classifieds, swap meets, and word of mouth. As most have found out, you just have to be in the right place at the right time....

Apparnetly my watch is always wrong.

Re: Projects and lost interest

Depending on the day of the week and time of day, my thoughts run toward selling mine off and ridding myself of the potential fun that it will bring when it's finished. Then, the wife chimes in and fusses about me having a hobby and she doesn't then adds that I have disposable income (from my Dads' estate....and it is dwindling), yada, yada, yada. So, I say, "Okay, I'll just sell the '69." Then she says, "No, don't do that, you'll regret it (she's right).

It's a good thing you don't live nearby and know me and my moods, huh?

BTW, there's another '69 near me that is in black primer, and has a body-off restification. It's got a built 305, 350TH, 3 coats of POR-15 on the completely disassembled frame (after sandblasting), all new NOS suspension components, etc. The bed is a 20-footer, but the rest looks good. I made a cash offer for it about three months ago, and he didn't jump very fast. However, 10 days later, he left a message at my house. By that time, my truck was scattered all over town.

Yeah, it sucks to vaccilate, don't it?
